PUFFERBELLY TRAIL
~ fun-raiser ~ may 13 ~

We are totally throwing a spring party, and wanted a good cause to rally behind.  And an active community is an awesome cause!  We want to support the FW Trails, and particularly the little spur known as the Pufferbelly Trail, which connects all of us on the North Side!

MARK YOUR CALENDARS: MAY 13

(did you know a pufferbelly name was chosen because the trail is largely utilizing old railroad clearings! makes sense.  and you thought it was named after a bird)

About the day:

The Fun-Raiser on Saturday, May 13 will break into 3 parts:  Midday, Afternoon, and Evening...logically.

The Midday will consist of a trail ride/walk, plus lunch specials (pork sandwich & Sun King Beer). Fort Wayne Trails Representatives will be here for your trail questions, and Summit City Bikes will also be out to answer your bike questions!

The Afternoon will have face painting, kids lawn games, and live music - all outside (weather permitting) from Chelsea Erickson & John Forbing

The Evening will feature a Hog roast, more Sun King Beer, plus food from Big Apple Pizza and Whip & Chill.  We will have more music from Kari Diehl & the Knit Cap Vigilantes as well as a night cap by gold record recording artist Robert Rolfe Feddersen!

SUPPORT THE TRAIL

There will be many ways to support the trail, from donations, to food purchases, to simply getting out and showing support!
We will also have members of the Fort Wayne Trails here, so you can discuss even more ways to get involved!

(a portion of proceeds for the day will
also go to Fort Wayne Trails)
